Teachers play a vital role in shaping the thoughts and future of students, just like a parent. It is said that school is the second home and teachers our step parents. Hence they are honored, being a model of knowledge, morality and virtues. To pay respect to such great masters of virtue, our society has set aside a day called Teacher’s Day on 5th of September (Birthday of Dr S Radhakrishnan).
There are various ways in which people observe Teacher’s Day. Some honour their mentor by gifting a bunch of flowers, while others by singing songs of gratitude, or by hoisting a play to demonstrate the role of teachers in building up a promising tomorrow.
Herein, I express my thanks and love to my teachers by penning my thoughts.
Thank you dear Teachers and thank you my dear Amma, Achan, who are my guide through out my life.
